The Dream: “Life, what is it but a dream?”

Are you familiar with the scientific discoveries that simply looking at an object changes it on a molecular level? This isn't the "woowoo" science that raises eyebrows of more mainstream academics. This is widely held and accepted. If you go deeper into quantum physics, and start seeing where it interplays with visionary views of the nature of "reality," it is easy to start to imagine that the world really is just an illusion that we create in each moment with our beliefs, projections, preferences and desires. Whether it is true, or not, it does make basic sense that whatever it is we choose to focus on, we tend to manifest. 

As the world continues to shift in unpredictable ways, it seems helpful to start allowing ourselves to focus our own consciousness on a reality that is full of life, harmony and joy. At worst, it gives us the opportunity to maintain a vision of optimism in the face of apparent chaos and change, and at best, we may actually play a key role in the global navigation of environmental, political and socio-economical shifts.

There is a phenomenon in nature referred to as "Emergence," that observes a swarm, pack, community behaving in a chaotic way and then, without any proof of control, manipulation, agenda or plan, a pattern of synthesis will emerge. Any one individual does not have the conscious agenda or influence for creating that order, and science has yet to pinpoint any one influence that causes this order to happen. It simply "emerges." My belief is that as we allow ourselves to tune into the natural flow of the universe, we, too, will emerge from the chaos and into a harmonic and unified flow. My belief, also, is that opening our minds to images and information that reflect the natural and beautiful order of the universe (like "sacred" geometries, which are really just the laws of nature put into a visual diagram) will help us to "emerge" more quickly and with more ease. As we become more consciously familiar with the natural workings of the universe, then we, too, can more easily move into a graceful dance with the shifts and changes that are taking place around us.

I recently had a dream that I don't actually remember fully. The only thing I awoke with was this message: "Single pointed focus." I have interpreted that to mean it is important for me to bring my attention to a single point that will assist in my coming into sync with the emergence that will inevitably arise out of the apparent chaos that is currently abounding.  I'm doing this by bringing my mind to focus on a special sacred geometry when I feel bombarded by stimuli that takes me out of an open-hearted alignment.
